Ranjith Govind

Singer, Recording Artist,
Composer, Songwriter

Ranjith jump-started his career as a playback singer in 2002 after his mesmerizing finale performance in Sun TV’s Saptaswarangal, where he emerged as a winner. He has sung over 1000 + songs in South Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Ranjith is a trained Carnatic singer and has built a strong foundation for himself with the help of renowned music gurus like P. S. Narayana Swamy, Vidwan Sri Cudallore Subramaniam, Sri K.S. Kanakasingham, and Sri Trichur.P. Ramankutty. His style of music is influenced by rock, classical, RnB, alternative rock, hip-hop, country & EDM. Ranjith has also learnt Hindustani Classical and Western Classical music from Sri Kedar Kharath & Mr Augustine Paul respectively.

Ranjith’s skill with instruments like the piano, guitar and mridangam has helped him broaden his musical horizons from playback singing and classical kutcheris to producing Independent songs and jingles. His playback journey has also given him the opportunity to work with music legends like Illayaraja, AR Rahman, Mani Sharma, Vidhya Sagar, Bharathwaj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja, D.Imman, Anirudh, Harris Jayaraj, S A Rajkumar, Thaman.S, Sundar, Deepak Dev, Oussepatchan and many more renowned musicians of all time.

About This Course

Prerequisite

Successful completion of PaatuClass Level 1

Duration

Level 2 of PaatuClass is a 10 week course.

Learning Curve

Classes are both interactive and filled with lesson plans and assignments to urge you to explore the art further.

Expression through Vocals

We at The Pallikoodam encourage you to both listen through art forms, and express yourself through it. Our course will teach you how to appreciate music.

Level 2 of PaatuClass will show you how you can build the more subtle skills that really allow you to sing with flare and finesse.

  • You will learn how to improve your vocal agility
  • You will learn how to sing vocal trills and how to oscillate your voice (Demo) &
  • You will learn how to take your first step into vocal improvisation which is a process where you learn to sing in response to any form of music.

In addition to this, level 2 goes into the subject of

  • How to use social media to start positioning yourself as a singer and also
  • How to start approaching studios to create and record your own song covers or even original songs. This combination of advanced techniques and practical application is perfect for those who are aspiring to become singers who want to perfect their abilities and start sharing their music with the world.

Level 2 of PaatuClass is best suited for those of you who have completed PaatuClass level 1.
It’s a great way to get started as a budding Artist.

HOW IT WORKS

Complete The Lessons & Homeworks

Lessons and Homeworks will be delivered to you on a scheduled basis. Complete them within the recommended time and ensure that you follow the practise guidelines provided during the course. Visit your learner dashboard to track your course enrollments and your progress.

Attend the Live Sessions

Ensure that you re present during the Live Sessions with Ranjith as he will be offering different ways to approach the course material and he will answer some of the questions that you may have regarding the process & reviewing your progress on an Individual basis.

Earn A Certificate

Upon successful completion of the course materials and the associated assignments you will receive a certificate from The Pallikoodam that can be added to your profile and also make you elogible for various advanced courses that are coming soon.
